Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is not an ordinary man, nor a mythological figure. Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the original source of all that be — both material and spiritual. As confirmed in the Bhagavad-gītā (10.8), Krishna says:

"I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me."

The name "Krishna" means "all-attractive". He is full in six opulences: wealth, strength, fame, beauty, knowledge, renunciation, and He exhibited the same. Therefore, only Krishna can be called the Supreme.

When Krishna descended on this planet 5,000 years ago, He did not come like an ordinary man. He appeared in His original, transcendental form, full of bliss and knowledge. His pastimes, like lifting Govardhana Hill or speaking the Bhagavad-gītā to Arjuna, are not imagination. They are factual, historical, and are described in authoritative scriptures such as the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, other Puranas, and the Mahābhārata.

Krishna is not a Hindu god; rather He is the Lord of all living entities, regardless of caste, creed, or nationality. Every soul is His part and parcel, and our natural position is to serve Him with love and devotion.

This process of bhakti-yoga, devotional service is the highest most effective, complete form of yoga. It begins by the simple sublime process of chanting the holy names of the Lord: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare /Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

I have presented this knowledge in my books like Bhagavad-gītā As It Is and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, so that people everywhere can understand the science of God — not sentimentally, but philosophically, logically, and practically.

Understand Krishna, and your life will be perfect.
